Chapter 10 - Take 2!

I have not been pushing forward on the book project this month.  Boo to me.

Anyway, I've sent a new version of Chapter 10.  I had some serious transition issues that were bothering me, and when they were immediately pointed out by Derrick the day after I sent it, I decided to put out a "stop the presses" order to the Alpha Readers until I had a chance to fix.

The first page and a half of Chapter 10 were moved to the beginning of page 18 - yep, that's how badly I missed.  Honestly, the only thing needed was copy/paste of that section and then the chapter made perfect sense.

This is the issue with stream-of-consciousness writing, though it's still the best way I've found to write, and it's also the benefit of having Alpha Readers.

And now, pictures of a baby hedgehog:

Chapter 10!!

Believe it or not, I wrote the entirety of Chapter 10 in two days.  Amazing what one can do when the muse strikes one.  The clock is about to strike 10, and so I go to bed.

One note about Chapter 10 - at a request for more originality, the "Capture the Flag" game referenced in Chapter 9 is now called "Pillage".  Also, there is a brief repeated section from Chapter 9 in 10, because I decided it worked better here.  It will be removed from Ch. 9.

When I become a famous writer, this is what I am going to purchase - the new Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

That's also an expensive-looking suit.  I'll get one of those too.

Delay?

The reason I haven't posted anything about beginning Chapter 10 yet is because I haven't begun Chapter 10.  The reason is I'm trying to catch up on my reader feedback.  It's important to me to read the feedback I receive and to reply.  This feedback helps improve my writing moving forward and also keeps the readers involved in the process.  I am almost finished catching up.  After, I will be ready to rock-and-roll on chapter 10.  I already have the next several chapters mapped out.  I just need to sit down and get them on paper.
